Medicaid Fair Hearings
There are various components of a decision made by the County on an application for Medical Assistance (“Medicaid”) and there are a number of reasons why an application for Medicaid can be denied. The County issuing the decision must provide the applicant with the reasoning underlying the determinations made in its decision, and these decisions can be appealed in front of an Administrative Law Judge in a Fair Hearing. Our lawyers have a large volume of experience in representing our clients in both the preparation and filing of Medicaid applications and in representing them at Fair Hearings in situations where they receive an unfavorable decision from the County.
